Florida Panthers News

Reinhart (undisclosed) is expected to be out vs. Detroit on Tuesday.

Panthers' Head Coach Paul Maurice indicated that Reinhart will not play on Tuesday, mostly for maintenance purposes, and should be ready to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 30-year-old Reinhart has 59 points (28G / 31A) in 63 games this season and only has four points (1G / 3A) in his last seven outings.

Barkov (lower-body) returned to Florida's practice for the first time in a non-contact jersey.

Barkov underwent surgery to repair ACL and MCL injuries in late September and has been on the road to recovery ever since. He has been skating for the past several weeks, but made his debut at practice on Tuesday. Although he was in a non-contact jersey, his presence at practice is an encouraging sign that he could be targeting a return to play during the regular season or, at the very least, in the playoffs if his team can accommodate him with a late-season rally.

Marchand (lower-body) is out for "weeks" and may require surgery.

Marchand will not play against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday due to a nagging injury that has kept him out of the lineup a few times in the past several weeks. He was re-evaluated on Tuesday and has been ruled out for "weeks," with both parties considering surgery to address the ailment. The 37-year-old Marchand is having a great season with the Bruins, scoring 54 points (27G / 27A) in 52 games, but he has only had five points (2G / 3A) in his last 10 games.
