The Lightning have reassigned Louis Domingue to Syracuse (AHL).

After Tuesday, the Lightning are off until Saturday, so Domingue heads to Syracuse where he will likely start Wednesday and maybe Friday as well. However the Lightning said they plan on carrying three goalies right now, so Domingue AHL stint will likely be short lived.

Louis Domingue
Bobrovsky will start Monday vs. the Canadiens.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Red Wings on Friday. Bobrovsky missed a couple of games with an illness, but has played well recently—the 29-year-old has won four of his last five starts while allowing 11 goals on the 153 shots (.928 SV%). Tonight he will take on the Canadiens for the third time and comes in 1-1-0 with a 1.51 GAA and .946 SV% in the first two meetings.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Tkachuk (undisclosed) missed Monday’s practice.

Tkachuk was hurt late in Sunday’s game vs. the Islanders following a collision with Mathew Barzal and his absence from Monday’s practice makes him questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Oilers. Before panicking, check on Tkachuk’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate .

Joonas Korpisalo started the last two games with Bobrovsky battling an illness, but Bob is ready to go tonight vs. the Red Wings. Bobrovsky has a great matchup with Detroit in town—he comes in having won three of his last four with a 2.27 GAA and .930 SV%.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Bobrovsky (illness) will backup Joonas Korpisalo on Thursday.

Bobrovsky missed Tuesday’s game vs. the Golden Knights with an illness but is good to backup on Thursday. Korpisalo was great against Vegas so he has been rewarded with a second straight start and it gives Bobrovsky an extra days rest prior to tomorrow’s projected start vs. the Red Wings.

Kunin will undergo surgery to repair a torn ACL; will be sidelined for 6-8 months.

Kunin tore his ACL in Sunday’s game against the Red Wings and his season is over. This is a tough break for the former first-round pick (No.15 overall in 2016) who appeared to have earned a role with the Wild down the stretch after picking up 19 points (10G / 9A) in 36 games with Iowa (AHL).

Luke Kunin
Bobrovsky will start Friday in Anaheim.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Capitals on Monday. With Joonas Korpisalo going last night, Bobrovsky should be well rested heading into tonight’s game in Anaheim. Bob has won three of his last four starts while posting a 1.51 GAA and .945 SV%. Despite his recent success, Bobrovsky is 12-11-3 on the road this season.
