Dickinson was cross-checked in the Stars season opener and is expected to be sidelined for at least a week. The Stars will need to recall a forward from Texas (AHL) to replace Dickinson on Saturday.
With Adam Larsson going on LTIR, replacing Ethan Bear with Bouchard increases the Oilers' LTIR pool. Bouchard was close to making the team out of training camp and earns his first call-up because of some salary cap manipulation.
Hyman, who is expected to miss the first 12-to-15 games of the season, practiced with his teammates for the first time since undergoing knee surgery. If Hyman can make quick progress, he could return to the lineup by late-October.
Murphy has landed on IR to begin the 2019-20 season but is not expected to be sidelined long-term. Slater Koekkoek will open the year as the Blackhawks No.6 defensemen while Murphy is out.

During his first full season with the Maple Leafs, Kapanen registered 20 goals and 24 assists (44 points) in 78 games. The 22-year-old was quiet during the postseason but should be able to build off of strong start to his NHL career. However, Kapanen’s ceiling may be limited because he is destined to play third-line minutes on a deep Toronto roster.
Ingram, who was selected in the third-round (No.88 overall) in 2016, split his 2018-19 season between the AHL and ECHL. The 22-year-old was 14-7-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .922 SV% with Syracuse (AHL) and 8-2-0 with a 2.81 GAA and .914 SV% with Orlando (ECHL). With Pekka Rinne entering his age-37 season, Ingram could serve as the Predators’ future No.2 behind Juuse Saros.
Janmark, 26, took a step back in 2018-19, scoring just six goals with 19 assists (25 points) in 81 games. Janmark is a key penalty killer for the Stars, ranking third among forwards in shorthanded time on ice per game (1:30). During Dallas’ playoff run, Janmark had one goal and two assists (three points) while appearing in seven of their 13 playoff games.
Janmark played just 6:31 TOI in Game 2 before leaving the game with an ankle issue. Janmark missed the morning skate on Monday but is expected to take warmups and is considered a game-time decision. Janmark, who had just 25 points in the regular season, has just one shot and four PIMS through two games in the postseason.
Frederic, 21, has not recorded a point in 13 games with the Bruins this season but as 11 goals and 11 assists (22 points) in 51 AHL contests.
