Janmark was originally expected to play but did not take part in line rushes at the morning skate and will not play vs. the Canucks. Janmark remains day-to-day, so monitor his status leading up to Thursday's game vs. the Jets.

Janmark missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Canucks. There's no word on who Janmark will replace but it will likely be Nicholas Caamano.

Frederic will likely make his season debut on Friday night because Zach Senyshyn is out for at least four weeks with a lower-body injury. Frederic, who has five assists in 15 AHL games this season, failed to register a single point in 15 games with Boston in 2018-19.

With Vladimir Sobotka out for at least four weeks, Lazar makes his return to the NHL. The 24-year-old currently ranks second on the Americans (AHL) in points, picking up four goals and five assists (nine points) in 11 games. He has not suited up for Buffalo yet but comes up with 51 points (15G / 36A) in 246 career NHL games.

Hyman missed the first 19 games of the season but will play Wednesday vs. the Islanders. Hyman's return comes at a great time, as he'll slide in for Mitch Marner, who is out with a high-ankle sprain. Hyman likely won't have the same success with Marner out, but he'll still be with John Tavares on Wednesday. The 27-year-old set career-highs in goals (21) and points (41) in 71 games last year.

Regula, who was acquired from the Red Wings for Brendan Perlini, has enjoyed a great start to the 2019-20 season. He has been paired with Ryan Merkley on the London Knights (OHL) first pair is currently fifth on the team with 15 points (7G / 8A) in 14 games.

Regula was a third-round pick (No.67 overall) in 2018 and is currently a top-pair defenseman with the London Knights (OHL). Regula is a towering defenseman at 6-foot-4, 207 lbs. who has registered 11 points (4G / 7A) in 10 OHL games this season.

Stillman picked up one assist in five games with Springfield to start the season but has been called up because Michael Matheson will miss at least 10 days with an undisclosed injury. Stillman will play in his second career NHL game on Tuesday.

Jones was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will play Thursday in Dallas. There is no word on who Jones will replace but he re-enters the lineup with just one assist in seven games.

Murphy suffered a groin injury in Tuesday's shootout loss to the Golden Knights and his move to LTIR provides the Blackhawks with some cap relief but also means he'll miss at least 11 games. Dennis Gilbert was recalled from Rockford (AHL) and either he or Slater Koekkoek will replace Murphy. This also helps explain the trade for Ian McCoshen on Tuesday as the team looked to address organizational depth on the back-end.

Jarry allowed just one goal on 22 shots in the Penguins loss to Vegas on Saturday. Jarry was great but Marc-Andre Fleury was sensational at the other end of the ice and dealt Jarry his first loss of the season. Jarry has allowed just three goals on 51 shots (.941 SV%) in two starts this year but has a rough matchup in Tampa Bay with his team on a back-to-back.

Jarry made 27 saves on 29 shots in the Penguins win in Winnipeg last Sunday. It was a great start to 2019-20 for Jarry, who gets the nod tonight vs. Marc-Andre Fleury and Vegas Golden Knights. Jarry had a .915 SV% in 47 AHL starts last year and a .907 SV% in 30 career NHL appearances. He’s a solid backup but not a great spot-start option against Vegas.

Lazar has picked up one assist in three games with Rochester and has been recalled to serve as an extra forward as the Sabres head out to California for a road-trip starting on Wednesday. The former first-round pick has 51 points (15G / 36A) in 246 career NHL games with the Senators and Flames.

Jarry won the Penguins backup job, perhaps because of a lower AAV than Casey DeSmith but he’s Matt Murray’s backup nonetheless. With Murray starting the first five games of the season, including last night, Jarry will make his season debut in Winnipeg. He was 23-23-3 with a 2.66 GAA and .915 SV% in the AHL last season and has a .906 career SV% in 29 NHL appearances.

Murphy missed the Blackhawks season opener but will draw into the lineup on Thursday. Murphy, who had 13 points (5G / 8A) in 52 games last year, will skate on the third pair with Slater Koekkoek.

Dickinson played just 6:14 TOI before leaving Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury. With Blake Comeau also suffering an injury last night, the Stars have recalled Nick Caamano and Rhett Gardner from Texas (AHL).
