Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) will return vs. SEA on Saturday

Nugent-Hopkins has been sidelined since November 8th due to an undisclosed injury, but he will return to the lineup on Saturday against the Seattle Kraken. Despite a subpar start to the season for the Oilers, Nugent-Hopkins provided ample production before his injury, scoring 16 points (5G / 11A) in 16 games. The 32-year-old forward is pacing for only the second point-per-game season of his career.

Jarry will start in Columbus on Friday.

Jarry was stellar, returning from a three-week absence in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) and will return to the crease on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. After an ugly 2024-25 season, posting a 3.12 GAA and .892 SV% in 36 appearances (16-12-6), the 30-year-old Jarry continues his resurgent 2025-26 campaign, showcasing a 2.53 GAA and .914 SV% through eight games (6-2-0). The Penguins enter Friday's contest as +121 road underdogs against a Blue Jackets team coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Before his injury, Jarry was playing well, posting a 2.60 GAA and .911 SV% in seven games (5-2-0), marking his best start to a season in several years. The Penguins have lost two straight (0-1-1), outscored 8-2, and hope to rebound on Wednesday, entering their contest against the Sabres as slight -109 home favourites.

Jarry (lower-body) is expected to be available on Wednesday vs. Buffalo.

Jarry was off to a solid start to the season before suffering a lower-body injury on November 3rd, posting a 2.60 GAA and .911 SV% in seven games (5-2-0), marking his best start to a season in several years. The Penguins received serviceable goaltending from Arturs Silovs and Sergei Murashov, so it's unclear what Jarry's workload will be like when he returns to the lineup.

Dickinson (shoulder) will return to the Blackhawks lineup on Sunday.

Dickinson will play in his first game since October 30th, and just his ninth game of the season on Sunday. The third-line centre will replace an unnamed forward in the lineup as the Blackhawks continue to roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

Jason Dickinson
Pickard will start in Tampa Bay on Thursday.

The Oilers will hand Pickard the start in the tail-end of their back-to-back when they travel to Tampa Bay on Thursday. Pickard turned in another poor performance in his last start, allowing five goals on 25 shots in a 5-4 loss in Columbus last Thursday. The 33-year-old netminder owns a 2-3-1 record and an ugly .830 SV% on the season. Pickard and the Oilers enter action on Thursday at +145 on the money line.

Calvin Pickard
Emberson will draw back into Edmonton's lineup in Washington on Wednesday.

The Oilers will likely go with an 11-7 formation on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, with Emberson drawing in on the blueline. The 25-year-old Emberson has three points (1G / 2A) and is averaging 15:44 time-on-ice in 16 games this season.

Ty Emberson
Howard has been loaned to Bakersfield (AHL).

The Oilers faithful had high expectations for Howard entering his first NHL season, but has had trouble adjusting from the collegiate level. The 21-year-old has three points (2G / 1A) in 17 games this season and will hope to rediscover his scoring touch in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL).

Isaac Howard
Dickinson (shoulder) is day-to-day and his status is unknown for Saturday vs. Toronto.

Dickinson missed four games earlier this season due to an upper-body injury and has missed the last five while tending to a shoulder injury. The 30-year-old Dickinson is averaging 14:16 time-on-ice and has three points (1G / 2A) in eight games this season.

Jason Dickinson
Hyman (wrist) will make his season debut on Saturday.

Hyman missed the second half of last year's playoffs after enduring an upper-body injury and has yet to play in the 2025-26 season. Hyman is just one season removed from a 54-goal campaign in 2023-24 and will hope to get off to a hot start when he is able to return.
