Gibson will start Monday vs. the Hurricanes.

Gibson allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Ducks loss to Minnesota on Friday. Gibson has lost three in a row while allowing three goals in each game and posting a .941 SV%. Gibson gone 5-7-2 with a 2.77 GAA and .926 SV% on home ice this season and the Ducks get a boost tonight with Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg expected to play.

Gibson allowed three goals on 43 shots in the Ducks loss in Vegas on Tuesday. Gibson has now lost five of his last six starts and sits at 5-7-1 with a 2.77 GAA and .927 SV% in 14 starts at the Honda Center. He has a stiff test tonight against the visiting Wild, who have lost five of their last nine games (4-4-1).

Gibson allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Ducks loss in Columbus last Friday. Ryan Miller gave him the night off on Saturday, so Gibson will get back in the crease tonight in Vegas. The 24-year-old is 3-3-0 with a 3.51 GAA and .901 SV% in seven road starts this season.

Perron (upper-body) took part in line rushes on Monday; may return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Perron has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but was buck at practice yesterday and could play tonight vs. the Ducks. Perron has yet to be cleared to play but a decision will be made after today’s morning skate.

Gibson allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Ducks’ win in St. Louis on Wednesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Gibson, who will make his 21 start of the year tonight in Columbus. Gibson has gone 3-2-0 with an ugly 3.60 GAA and .901 SV% in six starts on the road this season.

Gibson was pulled after he allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Ducks’ loss in Chicago on Monday. It was an ugly outing for bison, who has now lost three straight while allowing a combined 11 goals on 106 shots (.896 SV%). He draws one of the toughest matchups tonight in St. Louis—he is 2-2-0 with a 4.07 GAA and .885 SV% on the road.

Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots i the Oilers win in Boston on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while allowing a combined four goals on 47 shots (.915 SV%). Talbot enters play tonight at 4-6-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice. Hopefully his recent play is a sign of the Oilers and Talbot turning a corner.

Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots i the Oilers win in Boston on Sunday. Talbot has won two straight while allowing a combined four goals on 47 shots (.915 SV%). Talbot enters play tonight at 4-6-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .896 SV% on home ice. Hopefully his recent play is a sign of the Oilers and Talbot turning a corner.

Talbot (flu) will start on Sunday barring a setback.

Talbot missed Friday’s game in Buffalo with the flu but will return to the Oilers’ crease tonight in Boston. In his last start, Talbot stopped 20 of 22 shots in a win in Detroit last Wednesday. He has been below average so far this season, but he will go head-to-head with Tuukka Rask, who has also been terrible based on his standards as well.

Perron left Friday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Perron was labeled as day-to-day after the game, clouding his status for Saturday’s tilt in Arizona. Perron played just 9:58 TOI before exiting Friday’s game following a collision with Sharks forward Timo Meier. If Perron can’t play on Saturday, look for either Oscar Lindberg or Brendan Leipsic to move onto a line with Erik Haula and James Neal.
