Gibson suffered an upper-body injury against the Avalanche and is not expected to be available against Minnesota on Wednesday. Reto Berra has been recalled and is expected to backup Ryan Miller. There’s no word on whether or not Gibson will be available for the weekend’s final two games.

Faulk is dealing with a lingering upper-body injury and will come out of the lineup for the fourth time in six games. Roland McKeown will draw into the lineup for Faulk.

Talbot was pulled after he allowed three goals on seven shots in Calgary on Saturday. Talbot has lost four in a row, but is 3-3-1 with a 3.86 GAA and .884 SV% in his previous seven starts—tonight he makes his eighth consecutive start. He is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .953 SV% in two starts vs. the Wild this season.


Talbot surrendered two goals on 30 shots in the Oilers loss in Vancouver on Thursday. Talbot has lost three in a row while allowing a combined 12 goals on 86 shots (.860 SV%). Talbot has gone 2-1-0 with a 1.31 GAA and .958 SV% against the Flames this season.
