Rasmussen has collected just one assist while averaging 12:33 TOI/GM through the first five games of his NHL career. Being scratched tonight will give Rasmussen a chance to learn a few things from watching and allows Martin Frk a chance to make his season debut.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Gibson, who has an impressive 1.44 GAA, .955 SV% and one shutout to start the 2018-19 season. The 25-year-old did not face Dallas last season, but they come in averaging 4.00 goals for per game in their first three games.
Talbot allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Oilers loss in Boston on Thursday. The Oilers have lost each of their first two games and Talbot has allowed seven goals on 57 shots (.877 SV%). This afternoon he faces his former team, who he is 0-4-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .895 SV% against in his career.
Dries did not record a point in three games with the Avalanche. He returns to the AHL, where he had 30 points (19G / 11A) in 70 games with the Texas Stars last season.

Gibson has been stellar to start the year, stopping 72 of 74 shots (.973 SV%) and is a must-start tonight vs. the Red Wings.
Talbot was excellent in 2017, but struggled to a 3.02 GAA and .908 SV% in 67 starts last year. Talbot is probably not as good as he was in 2017 or as bad as he was in 2018, making him a solid No.2 fantasy option. He is a decent option in Sweden as the Oilers take on the Devils.
Hamonic suffered the fracture in a fight with Canucks defenseman Erik Gudbranson on Wednesday. Hamonic finished the game but missed yesterday's practice and will now miss at least a couple of weeks. Dalton Prout is expected to replace him on Saturday, but Rasmus Andersson is a potential candidate to draw-in in the future.
Gibson has been the best goalie in the NHL over the last three years, posting the league’s best SV% (.924) and GAA (2.26) while ranking third for third in shutouts (14). The Ducks have a stout bluleine that makes things easy on Gibson and he could be the best goalie in fantasy this season if he is able to start 60-plus games again.
Holl was a second round pick in 2010 and made it to the NHL briefly last season. The 26-year-old scored two goals in his only two games with the Maple Leafs, but spent most of the year with the Marlies (AHL), where he had seven goals and 21 assists (28 points) in 60 games. Holl is projected to be the Maple Leafs’ seventh defenseman this season.
van Riemsdyk was originally selected No.2 overall by the Flyers in 2007 and spent the first three years of his career in Philadelphia. van Riemsdyk has been one of the most consistent producers in the NHL in recent years, averaging 31 goals and 28 assists (59 points) per 82 games over the last five seasons. JVR is expected to skate on the Flyers’ second line with Nolan Patrick and Jakub Voracek.
