Boston has claimed Vladislav Kolyachonok from Dallas off of waivers.

Kolyachonok started this season in the AHL, but injuries on the Dallas blueline awarded him the opportunity to make his team debut last month. The 24-year-old played in 11 games with Dallas, scoring three points (1G / 2A), but with regulars returning to the lineup, Kolyachonok found himself out of the lineup and ultimately on waivers. He joins a Bruins team that has battled its own share of blueline injuries.

Kolyachonok will draw back into Dallas' lineup in Minnesota on Thursday.

The Stars' blueline is getting healthier, which resulted in Kolyachonok being a healthy scratch on Tuesday, but he will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. The 24-year-old Kolyachonok has been impressive in limited action since making his team debut last month, scoring three points (1G / 2A) and averaging 12:42 time-on-ice in 10 games.

Oettinger will start in Minnesota on Thursday.

The red-hot Stars, 9-0-2 in their last 11, will turn to Oettinger on Thursday in a meeting against his hometown team, the Minnesota Wild. Oettinger was the second star in the NHL last week and has been picking up momentum after a mediocre start to the season. The 26-year-old American goalie has a 1.85 GAA and .934 SV% in his last six games (6-0-0). The Stars enter Thursday's contest against a Wild team that has been amongst the NHL's best over the last month but has suddenly lost three of its last five (2-2-1).

Kolyachonok will be a healthy scratch vs. Winnipeg on Tuesday.

With Thomas Harley (lower body) returning from a multi-week absence, Kolyachonok will exit the lineup and serve as a healthy scratch. A myriad of injuries on the Dallas blueline allowed Kolyachonok to make his team debut last month, and he proved reliable in limited action, averaging 12:42 time-on-ice and scoring three points (1G / 2A) in 10 games.

DeSmith will start in Winnipeg on Tuesday.

The red-hot Stars have points in 15 of their last 16 games (13-1-2), which can be largely attributed to solid tandem netminding from Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith. The 34-year-old DeSmith will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets. DeSmith has been outstanding in a supporting role this season, helping his team record at least a point in nine straight games (6-0-3) while posting a tremendous 1.90 GAA and .933 SV%. The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -127 road favorites against a Jets team that has lost three of their last four (1-2-1).

Harley (lower-body) will return to Dallas' lineup in Winnipeg on Tuesday.

Harley has not played since November 13th, and few details have been revealed about his injury. He was back at practice on Friday and will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 24-year-old Harley was battling the injury before being sidelined, resulting in a lackluster start to the season, with 10 points (1G / 9A) and a -7 plus/minus in 18 games. Before the start of the season, Stars' Head Coach Glen Gulutzan hinted that Harley and Miro Heiskanen may split time on the team's powerplay unit, but given Heiskanen's hot start to the season, it's unlikely that Harley sees much time outside of the second unit.
