Garland has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but is listed as a game-time decision for Monday's game vs. the Kings. Prior to getting hurt, Garland was held goalless in his previous 10 games.
This is a massive blow to the Coyotes, who are currently clinging to the final playoff spot in the West Division. Garland is currently tied for second on the team with 32 points (10G / 22A) in 45 games.
Garland was banged up on Monday and left Tuesday's practice early and is not expected to play tonight vs. the Wild. With Garland out, John Hayden replaced him on a line with Christian Dvorak and Lawson Crouse.
Gudbranson has been out of the lineup for the last two games but will presumably replace Josh Brown in the lineup on Thursday. Gudbranson, has one goal, two assists and a minus-13 rating in 34 games this season.
