Ivan Provorov has been traded to Columbus in a three-team deal involving the Los Angeles Kings.

Provorov was dealt to Columbus as part of a three-team blockbuster trade involving Los Angeles and five players and three draft picks. The 26-year-old defensemen had six goals, 21 assists, 115 SOG, 24 PIMs and a -17 plus/minus through 82 games played with Philadelphia in 2022-23. He has 532 career NHL games played, racking up a career high of 41 points (17G/24A) in 2017-18.

Jake Christiansen has signed a one-way, two year contract through the 2023-24 season.

Christiansen had four assists, 25 SOG, a -7 plus/minus and four PIMs through 24 games during the 2022-23 season with the Columbus Blue Jackets and has signed a one-way, two year contract through the 2023-24 season. The 23-year-old has 32 career NHL games played and was originally signed as a free agent by the Blue Jackets after he finished junior hockey in Everett (WHL) in 2019-20.

Mason Marchment (upper-body) is travelling for Game 6 and will be a game-time decision.

Marchment left Game 4 after just three shifts and 2:32 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and did not play in Game 5 vs. Seattle but is traveling with the team and will be a game-time decision for Saturday's matchup. If the 27-year-old is out of the Stars' lineup it will create a big hole as the left winger has three goals, two assists, nine SOG and 16 PIMs through 10 games.

The 27-year-old played in all six games for the Islanders in the playoffs this postseason, failing to pick up a point.

Hudson Fasching
Boone Jenner will not return for the remaining two games of the 2022-23 season (lower-back).

Jenner was a late scratch Tuesday after warmups due to a lower-back injury and will now be out for the Blue Jackets' remaining two games of the 2022-23 season. The 29-year-old puts a lid on one of his most productive seasons to date statistically, as he had 26 goals, 45 points, 214 SOG, 51 PIMs and a -32 plus/minus through 68 games played prior to the injury.

Jake Christiansen has been reassigned to Cleveland (AHL).

Christiansen has four assists, 25 SOG, a -7 plus/minus and four PIMs through 24 games with Columbus this season but has been reassigned to Cleveland (AHL) Wednesday. Christiansen had eight goals, 22 assists, 53 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 47 games with Cleveland (AHL) before being recalled to Columbus on an emergency basis Tuesday.
