The Blue Jackets have sent Cole Sillinger to Cleveland (AHL).
Sillinger has three goals, eight assists, 93 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -23 plus/minus through 64 games with Columbus this season and has been reassigned to Cleveland (AHL). The 19-year-old will be sent to Cleveland, where he has never played an AHL game before.
Elvis Merzlikins has returned to the Columbus Blue Jackets after taking a personal leave in Latvia.
Merlikins had been having a historically bad season, with his 7-17-2 record, 4.10 GAA and .880 SV% and had left the Blue Jackets' to return to Latvia for personal reasons. The 28-year-old returned Wednesday resulting in Daniil Tarasov returning to Cleveland (AHL).

Copley stopped 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) for his fourth win in five games as he beat the Columbus Blue Jackets in his previous start. The 31-year-old Alaska native has been great since his December call-up, with his 21-4-3 record, 2.63 GAA and .904 SV%. He takes on the Calgary Flames, who have lost three of their last five games but are second in the NHL in shots per game (35.6).

The 31-year-old Alaska native has been great since his December call-up, with his 21-4-3 record, 2.63 GAA and .904 SV%. He takes on the Calgary Flames, who have lost three of their last five games but are second in the NHL in shots per game (35.6).
Mikael Pyythia finished his season with TPS (Finland) and has been assigned to Cleveland (AHL) for the remainder of the season.
