Nelson will not be in the lineup on Tuesday.
It looks like Nelson will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday with Mikhail Grabovski returning to the lineup from an upper-body injury. Nelson has just one goal and no assists in his last 12 games.
The NHL has suspended Gabriel Landeskog for three games for cross checking Simon Despres.
Landeskog cross-checked Ducks’ defenseman Simon Despres in the head during Wednesday’s win and has been suspended for the next three games. With Landeskog suspended, Andreas Martinsen will return to the lineup. The Avalanche captain is eligible to return to the lineup next Sunday in Edmonton.

The Blackhawks have sent Vinnie Hinostroza to Rockford (AHL).
Hinostroza failed to pick up a point while averaging 8:34 TOI in three games during his call-up. Hinostroza returns to Rockford, where he has 27 points (10G / 17A) in 41 games this season.

Kadri (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Kadri (lower-body) will not play on Thursday.
Kadri, who was fined $5,000 for his throat slashing gesture on Tuesday, will miss tonight’s game with a lower-body injury. With Kadri and Tyler Bozak both sidelined, Peter Holland will centre the Maple Leafs top line.
Schwartz (ankle) has been activated from IR; expected to return on Friday.
Schwartz (ankle) is progressing but will not play on Thursday.
Schwartz continues to skate with the Blues, but is not ready to play yet. The Blues next game is Saturday vs. the Wild, so monitor his status leading up to the weekend.
Schwartz practiced with teammates for the first time since fracturing his ankle in October.
Schwartz has not played since October 20th, but he finally returned to practice on Wednesday, which is an excellent sign that he could be back after the All Star break. Schwartz’s return would be huge for a banged up Blues team. His owned percentage has dropped to 49%, so he may be available in your league.

Landeskog was scratched in Wednesday's game against the Penguins. Landeskog was expected to play but did not come out for warmups and ended up being scratched with Mikhail Grigorenko returning to the lineup. Consider Landeskog as day-to-day until the Avalanche release more information.

Kadri missed Monday’s practice with an illness, but head coach Mike Babcock said that Kadri will be in the lineup on Tuesday. Deploy Kadri like you normally would.
