Makar has 17 goals, 49 assists, 176 SOG, 30 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 60 games this season but will miss his second straight game Thursday vs. San Jose. The Avalanche will be going with the same lineup they had in their victory over San Jose on Tuesday.

Wedgewood last started on February 18th due to a lower-body injury and allowed three goals on 36 shots (.917 SV%) for a loss to Columbus in that start. The 30-year-old Stars' backup has been incredibly solid when called upon, with his 7-8-3 record, .913 SV% and 2.92 GAA. He is expected to take on the Nashville Predators, who have won two of their last three games and are 27th in the NHL in goals per game (2.76).

Makar has missed the Avalanches' previous two games due to a lower-body injury but will draw back into the lineup Friday as Colorado takes on Arizona. The 24-year-old is having a phenomenal season, with 16 goals, 45 assists, 163 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +15 plus/minus through 55 games prior to his injury.

Wolanin has three assists, 16 SOG, four PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 15 games this season and has signed a two-year, two-way contract extension Thursday. The 28-year-old has 85 career NHL games played, picking up six goals and 17 assists, with a -3 plus/minus.

Roy has been out since February 21st due to a lower-body injury and has been activated from the injury reserve Thursday. The 26-year-old has 11 goals, 14 assists, 76 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 54 games this season prior to his injury.

Kelly last played on March 12th but will not miss the remained for the 2022-23 season as he deals with a broken kneecap. The 23-year-old left winger had a goal, three assists, 59 SOG, 37 PIMs and a -9 plus/minus through 55 games played prior to the injury.

Makar missed the Avalanche's previous game due to a lower-body injury and is "making progress" according to head coach Jared Bednar but will still miss Wednesday's game vs. Pittsburgh as he is still considered out day-to-day. The 24-year-old superstar has been excellent yet again this season, with his 16 goals, 45 assists, 163 SOG, 28 PIMs and +15 plus/minus through 55 games when healthy.

Makar will not play Monday vs. Chicago as he deals with a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day for now as the Avalanche do not seem overly worried about their superstars' injury. The 24-year-old has been having another fantastic season, with his 16 goals, 61 points, 163 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +15 plus/minus through 55 games prior to the injury.
