Martinook was forced to leave Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury and will not be available tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Lucas Wallmark will draw back into the lineup to replace him.
Jankowski will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
Jankowski played 12:17 TOI in Tuesday's loss to the Sharks and will be replaced by Tobias Rieder on Thursday. Jankowski has struggled mightily this season, amassing just three points (2G / 1A) in 41 games.
Robinson is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
Robinson is considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's game vs. the Red Wings. With Robinson likely out, Kevin Stenlund was recalled from the AHL and will replace him tomorrow.

With Carey Price remaining in Montreal with the flu, Primeau joined the team in New Jersey and could make his third career start vs. the Devils. Primeau, who is from New Jersey, has gone 12-7-2 with a 2.70 GAA and .899 SV% in 23 AHL games this season.

Gostisbehere will miss his 10th straight game on Monday but head coach Alain Vigneault expects to have him back on Thursday. They Flyers have gone 6-2-1 with 3.33 goals for and 2.56 goals against per game without him so there is no reason for them to rush him back if he's not 100 percent.
Dzingel will be a healthy scratch on Sunday.
Kotkaniemi is expected to be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
With Brendan Gallagher returning to the lineup, someone has to sit and much, to everyone's surprise, it looks like Kotkaniemi will get a night in the stands. Kotkaniemi remained on the ice with the injured players and other presumed scratches, so look for him to sit in Buffalo.

The Blue Jackets have signed Eric Robinson to a two-year contract extension worth $1.95 million ($975K AAV).
Robinson was set to become a restricted free agent this summer but gets a two-year contract extension that takes him through the 2022 season. The 24-year-old has nine points (5G / 4A) in 31 games with the Blue Jackets this season.

Gostisbehere will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday; expected to return miss three weeks.
Gostisbehere was hurt late in Wednesday's game in Carolina and missed Thursday's game vs. the Capitals. The third-pairing defenseman is scheduled to undergo surgery next Tuesday and will keep him sidelined until late-January/early-February.

Gostisbehere is dealing with a knee injury and underwent an MRI earlier today. Mark Friedman was called-up from the AHL this afternoon and will make his season debut in Gostisbehere’s place and Travis Sanheim will see power-play time.

Kotkaniemi has missed the last eight games with a concussion but will play Saturday in Tampa Bay. Kotkaniemi will replace Joel Armia, who is now week-to-week with an upper-body ailment. Kotkaniemi has scored just three goals and two assists (five points) in 22 games this season.
Line Change
Hall will make his Coyotes debut on Tuesday.
Hall was acquired from the Devils on Monday and joined the team in San Jose this morning and will make his debut against the Sharks. The Coyotes did not run lines this morning, so there is no indication who Hall will skate with.
The Canucks have recalled Jalen Chatfield from Utica (AHL).
Chatfield was recently sent back to the Canucks but swaps spots with Guillaume Brisebois again. Chatfield has never appeared in an NHL game in his career and has just one assist in 20 AHL games this season.
The Coyotes have acquired Taylor Hall and Blake Speers from the Devils for Nick Merkley, Nate Schnarr, Kevin Bahl, a 2020 first-round pick and 2021 conditional third-round pick.
Hall is a pending unrestricted free agent, so this could be a pure rental but the Coyotes are expected to pursue an extension. Hall will look to improve his numbers in Arizona to maximize his next deal and he could benefit from playing on a line with Phil Kessel. Hall's numbers so far are still decent, scoring six goals one 109 shots (5.5 SH%) with 19 assists (25 points) in 30 games.
Kotkaniemi (concussion) will travel on the Canadiens' three-game road trip.
Kotkaniemi will not play Saturday vs. the Red Wings but will travel to Western Canada with the team next week, suggesting he could play before the Christmas break. The Habs have gone 4-2-0 without Kotkaniemi.
