Boisvert was drafted 18th overall by Chicago in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and has since signed a three-year, entry-level contract. The 19-year-old forward had a successful 2025-26 campaign at the collegiate level, scoring 17 points (3G / 14A) in 26 games with Boston University. Sam Lafferty will enter the lineup as Boisvert's replacement.
