Philadelphia has signed Jack Studnicka to a two-year, two-way contract.

Studnicka was a second-round pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and has played 126 career NHL games, but has struggled to establish himself as a full-time NHLer. The 27-year-old scored 30 points (12G / 18A) last season in 41 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).

After playing a career-high 47 games with the Vancouver Canucks in the 2022-23 season, Studnicka has only played 22 games since. The 26-year-old forward has predominantly been an AHL player, and has six points (1G / 5A) in eight games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) this season.

Florida has signed Jack Studnicka to a one-year, two-way contract.

Studnicka was the 53rd overall pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and has split time between the AHL and NHL throughout his career. The 26-year-old forward spent the entirety of the 2024-25 season in the AHL, scoring 45 points (16G / 19A) in 72 games with the Ontario Reign.

The Kings have signed Jack Studnicka to a one-year, two-way contract.

Studnicka will join his fourth team in six seasons after he agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with Los Angeles on Monday. The 25-year-old Windsor native has six goals and 16 points in 107 career NHL games. He spent 2023-24 between Vancouver and San Jose and had one goal, no assists, six PIMs and a -12 plus/minus through 22 games played.

Studnicka is expected to return to San Jose's lineup on Thursday vs. Los Angeles.

Ryan Carpenter will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Studnicka to draw back into the lineup. Studnicka has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL, scoring 21 points (7G / 14A) in 36 games split between the Abbotsford Canucks and the San Jose Barracuda.

Studnicka was acquired from Vancouver earlier this season and has earned his call-up from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) after putting up 14 points (6G/8A) in 27 games played. The 25-year-old former second-round pick has appeared in 14 games between San Jose and Vancouver in the NHL this season and has one goal, two PIMs and a -4 plus/minus.

The Sharks acquired Studnicka from the Canucks on Friday.

Studnicka was acquried in exchange for defenseman Nick Cicek and a 2024 sixth-round draft pick. Studnicka played five games with the Canucks this season, registering one goal and zero assists. He's spent most of his time in Abbotsford (AHL) this year, scoring one goal and adding six assists in nine games.
