Edmonton has signed Atro Leppanen to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
Leppanen is an undrafted 27-year-old Finnish defenseman playing his first professional season in North America. He has impressed with 20 points (3G/17A) in 28 games with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL).
