Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 01-18-18
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lines, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
Key Injuries
IN
– Josh Bailey (lower-body) will return after a four-game absence.
– Bobby Ryan (hand) will draw back into the Senators lineup.
– Mark Borowiecki (concussion) will play for the first time since November 19th.
– Johnny Oduya (lower-body) will be back on the Senators blueline vs. the Blues.
– Jay Bouwmeester (personal) is expected to be back in the Blues lineup in Ottawa.
– Cody Eakin (undisclosed) will be back in after missing one game.
– Ryan Johansen (undisclosed) is expected to be in the Predators lineup vs. Arizona.
– J.T. Compher (upper-body) will be back in the Avalanche lineup after missing six games.
– Jake Muzzin (undisclosed) is expected to be back in the Kings lineup vs. the Penguins.

– Brendan Leipsic (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision in Tampa Bay.

– Sonny Milano (torn oblique) was placed on IR; will miss 4-6 weeks.
– Casey Cizikas (upper-body) will miss his third straight game.
– Kevan Miller (illness) will miss his second straight game.
– Kevin Hayes (undisclosed) will miss his third straight game.
– Staal (hip flexor) will not be available on Thursday.
– Nathan Beaulieu (illness) will not play in New York.
– Victor Hedman (lower-body) will miss 3-6 weeks.
– Tomas Nosek (undisclosed) returned to Las Vegas on Wednesday.
