Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 01-16-18
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lines, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
Key Injuries
IN
– Ryan McDonagh (back) skated in the morning skate and said he’s “ready to go” Tuesday.
– Shayne Gostisbehere (illness) was on the ice for the Flyers morning skate and is expected to play in New York.
GAMETIME DECISION
– Scott Mayfield (upper-body) left Monday’s game and is questionable for Tuesday.
– Josh Bailey (lower-body) has missed the last three games and is questionable for Tuesday.
– Casey Cizikas (upper-body) was held out of the lineup on Monday and seems unlikely for Tuesday.
– Jay Bouwmeester (undisclosed) missed the morning skate but is expected to play in Toronto.
OUT
– Andrew Ladd (upper-body) remains on IR heading into Tuesday’s game.
– Kevin Hayes (undisclosed) was not on the ice this morning and won’t play Tuesday.
– Justin Abdelkader (lower-body) will miss at least the next two games.
– Darren Helm (lower-body) will miss at least the next two games.
– Viktor Arvidsson (lower-body) has been placed on IR.
– Cody Eakin (undisclosed) is day-to-day and won’t play in Nashville.
