Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 01-02-18

Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.

The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lineups,  goalie rankings and DFS value picks.

Key Injuries

IN

– Nazem Kadri (upper-body) will return after a two-game absence.
– Zach Parise (back) will make his season debut vs. the Panthers.
– Dustin Byfuglien (lower-body) will return after a 10-game absence.
– Chris Tanev (groin) will return after an eight-game absence.
– Ryan Ellis (knee) will make his season debut in Vegas.

GAMETIME DECISION

– Nicklas Backstrom (illness) will be a game-time decision in Carolina.
– Kris Letang (lower-body) will be a game-time decision in Philadelphia.
– Justin Schultz (lower-body) will be a game-time decision in Philadelphia.

OUT

– Marcus Kruger (lower-body) will not play vs. the Capitals.
– Matt Niskanen (upper-body) will not play in Carolina.
– Remi Elie (illness) will not play vs. the Blue Jackets.
– Sven Andrighetto (leg) will not play vs. the Jets.
