Nikishin will be the odd-man out on Friday in order to make room for Jalen Chatfield, who is back in the lineup after suffering a concussion. Nikishin has appeared in 20 games this season, registering two goals and six assists.

Jeffrey Viel (undisclosed) will not play on Friday, allowing Tufte to re-enter the lineup. Tufte made his season debut for Boston earlier this week and scored a goal. The 27-year-old Tufte has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 13 games with the Providence Bruins (AHL) this season.

Cole Koepke will draw back into the Jets' lineup on Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes, resulting in Pearson being a healthy scratch. The 33-year-old Pearson is averaging 11:03 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 19 games this season.

Tanner Pearson will be a healthy scratch on Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes, allowing Koepke to re-enter the lineup for the first time since November 7th. The 27-year-old Koepke is averaging 10:16 time-on-ice and has two assists in 14 games this season.

With Zach Bogosian (lower body) activated from Injured Reserve, Hunt will head to the sidelines as a healthy scratch on Friday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 23-year-old Hunt has been a regular for Minnesota the previous two weeks, averaging 11:53 time-on-ice and scoring one assist in seven games.

MacEachern will slot in for Lukas Reichel, who was a surprise scratch on Thursday. He'll skate with Linus Karlsson and Max Sasson on Vancouver's fourth line.

It's unclear whether Reichel is dealing with an undisclosed injury or if he's simply a healthy scratch. MacKenzie MacEachern will play in his place.

Adam Edstrom draws back into New York's lineup on Thursday against Colorado, resulting in Parssinen returning to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Parssinen had a surprising rookie season with the Nashville Predators in 2022-23, scoring an impressive 25 points (6G / 19A) in 45 games, but has not maintained that success in three seasons since, scoring only 31 points (16G / 15A) in 105 games.

Juuso Parssinen will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Colorado Avalanche, allowing Edstrom to re-enter the lineup. Edstrom is yet to score a goal and has just two assists in 18 games this season.

Timothy Liljegren will draw back into San Jose's lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings, sending Mukhamadulin to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Mukhamadulin has four assists in nine games this season.

John Klinberg will return from a one-game absence as a healthy scratch, swapping with Nick Leddy. The 34-year-old Leddy has two assists and is averaging 17:30 time-on-ice through nine games this season.

Shakir Mukhamadullin will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings, allowing Liljegren to draw back into the lineup. The 26-year-old Liljegren is averaging a career-high 20:32 time-on-ice, recording 28 blocks, 15 hits, and four points (0G / 4A) in 13 games this season.

Klingberg has five points (2G / 3A) through 13 games with the Sharks. The 33-year-old Klingberg has spent most of the season on the team's top powerplay unit. Nick Leddy will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Klingberg's return.

Liam O'Brien will draw back into Utah's lineup on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights, sending Yamamoto to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old Yamamoto has three points (2G / 1A) in 13 games this season.
