MacEachern will be a healthy scratch vs. Anaheim on Wednesday.

Arshdeep Bains will return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks, sending MacEachern back to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 31-year-old MacEachern has only played eight games this season, but has been a regular the past two weeks, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in five games.

MacKenzie MacEachern
Ullmark is expected to start in Vegas on Wednesday.

The Senators are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings and will continue their road trip on Wednesday, turning to Ullmark to tend the twine against the Vegas Golden Knights. Ullmark has been solid in his last two outings (2-0-0), saving 40 of 44 combined shots (.909 SV%). The 32-year-old netminder has a 2.95 GAA and .877 SV% in 17 games this season (8-5-4). The Senators enter the action on Wednesday as +154 road underdogs against a 10-5-7 Golden Knights team.

Linus Ullmark
McCann will be a game-time decision vs. Dallas on Wednesday.

McCann has not played since October 20th and few details have been shared about his injury, but he has been practicing the last two weeks, and could return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Dallas Stars. The 29-year-old McCann has four points (3G / 1A) in five games this season.

Jared McCann
Schmid will start vs. Ottawa on Wednesday.

The Golden Knights are coming off a disappointing 5-1 loss to the Utah Mammoth and will revert to Akira Schmid between the pipes on Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators. Schmid has been solid for the Golden Knights, helping them record a point in eight straight starts (5-0-3) while posting a 2.40 GAA and .906 SV%. The 25-year-old Swiss goalie has a 2.45 GAA and .902 SV% in 13 games this season (9-1-3). Vegas enters Wednesday's contest as -171 home favorites against a Senators team that averages 3.2 goals per game.

Akira Schmid
Parssinen cleared waivers and has been assigned to Hartford (AHL).

Parssinen appeared in 14 games with the Rangers this season, scoring three points (2G / 1A), but failed to make a lasting impact and was ultimately placed on waivers. The 24-year-old Parssinen had a surprising rookie season with the Nashville Predators in 2022-23, scoring an impressive 25 points (6G / 19A) in 45 games, but has not maintained that success in three seasons since, scoring only 31 points (16G / 15A) in 105 games.

Juuso Parssinen
Stone (wrist) is practicing in a regular jersey at Vegas' morning skate on Wednesday and has a chance to return vs. Ottawa.

Stone has not played since suffering a wrist injury on October 18th, and few updates have been shared during his absence. That said, he was a full participant at Wednesday's morning skate and could return to the lineup against his former team, the Ottawa Senators. The 33-year-old Stone was off to another terrific start before his injury, with 13 points (2G / 11A) in six games. If he returns to the lineup, he is expected to play on a line with Mitch Marner and return to a role on the top powerplay unit.

Mark Stone
Askarov was the first goalie off the ice at San Jose's morning skate.

After an awful 0-4-2 start to the season, the Sharks have turned things around and find themselves flirting with playoff contention after a subsequent 11-5-1 stretch. Much of their success can be attributed to the outstanding play of Askarov, who will likely return to the crease on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 23-year-old Askarov has allowed two or fewer goals in seven of his last eight games (7-1-0), posting a terrific 1.50 GAA and .955 SV%. That said, the Sharks enter Wednesday's contest as significant +317 road underdogs against the league-leading Avalanche, who are riding a nine-game winning streak.

Yaroslav Askarov
Maatta (mantenance) is out vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Maatta has only played one game in the last two weeks and will remain on the sidelines on Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 31-year-old Maatta is averaging a career-low 11:48 time-on-ice and has one assist in 16 games this season. Before this season, Maatta's career-average ice time was 18:27.

Olli Maatta
Daccord was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

Daccord is coming off an NHL rarity, saving all 34 shots he faced in a shutout defeat in a 1-0 shootout loss to the New York Islanders. The Kraken rank in the bottom half of the league offensively (2.5 GF/GP) and need Daccord to be elite on most nights. The 29-year-old goalie has a 2.56 GAA and .909 SV% in 14 games (7-3-4). Seattle enters the action on Wednesday as +110 home underdogs against a Dallas Stars team that is an impressive 8-1-3 on the road after an explosive 8-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers last night.

Joey Daccord
Engstrom will make his NHL Debut in Utah on Wednesday.

Engstrom was drafted in the third-round, 92nd overall, in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Canadiens. The 22-year-old is in his second professional season in North America, tallying 14 points (5G / 9A) through 18 games with the Laval Rockets (AHL). Arber Xhekaj will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Engstrom's debut.

Adam Engstrom
Xhekaj will be a healthy scratch in Utah on Wednesday.

Adam Engstrom will draw into the lineup for his season debut on Wednesday against the Utah Mammoth, with Xhekaj being the odd-man out as a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Xhekaj is averaging 11:40 time-on-ice and has one assist and 40 penalty minutes in 20 games. The usually hard-hitting defenseman has seen a massive dip in his hit production this season, averaging only 1.5 hits per game, after averaging 2.8 in his previous three seasons.

Arber Xhekaj
Durzi (upper-body) will return vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Durzi has not played since the second game of the season, recovering from an upper-body injury, but will return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 27-year-old Durzi was solid in limited action with Utah last season, scoring 11 points (4G / 7A) in 30 games. Dmitri Simashev will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Durzi's return.

Sean Durzi
Simashev will be a healthy scratch vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Sean Durzi (upper body) will return from a multi-week absence on Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens, sending Simashev to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. Simashev, the first-year NHLer, is averaging 15:29 time-on-ice and has one assist in 22 games this season.

Dmitri Simashev
Mrazek will start vs. Vancouver on Wednesday.

With Lukas Dostal (lower body) out day-to-day, Mrazek will be between the pipes on Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks. Mrazek has showcased mixed results in limited action with the Ducks this season, posting a subpar 3.60 GAA and .886 SV%, but has salvaged a winning 3-2-0 record. The Ducks lead the Pacific Division and enter Wednesday's contest as -149 home favorites against a Canucks team on a three-game losing skid (0-3-0).

Petr Mrazek
Husso has been recalled from San Diego (AHL).

With Lukas Dostal (lower body) battling an injury, Anaheim has recalled Husso from the San Diego Gulls (AHL). The 30-year-old Husso is no stranger to the NHL, appearing in 145 games (71-46-19) with a 3.05 GAA and .901 SV%. That said, expect Husso to serve as the backup to Petr Mrazek during Dostal's absence.

Ville Husso
Dostal (upper-body) is out vs. Vancouver and considered day-to-day.

Dostal is battling an upper-body injury and will miss at least one game. Expect Petr Mrazek to see the bulk of the action while Dostal is sidelined. The 25-year-old Dostal has a serviceable 2.81 GAA and .904 SV% in 17 games this season (11-5-1).
