That said, Oettinger returns to the crease on Wednesday in the tail end of a back-to-back against the New Jersey Devils. The 26-year-old Oettinger has a 2.76 GAA and .900 SV% in 17 games (11-4-2) and has yet to consistently string together elite performances this season. The Stars enter Wednesday's contest as slight +102 road underdogs against a Devils team that has gone 4-5-0 since Jack Hughes’ injury (hand).

Elias Salomonsson and Neal Pionk (lower body) will return to the Jets' blueline on Wednesday against the Canadiens, resulting in Luke Schenn and Colin Miller being healthy scratches.
