McNabb has not played since the end of December due to an upper-body injury, but will be ready to play in Vegas' first game back from the Olympic break. The 35-year-old defenseman has three points (2G / 1A), 98 blocks, and 63 hits in 38 games this season.

Hanifin scored three points (1G / 2A) in six games while representing Team USA at the Olympics and will not be ready to return to Vegas' lineup until Friday against the Washington Capitals. The 29-year-old Hanifin's offensive production has been negatively affected by Vegas's deep blue line this season and has been limited to only 20 points (2G / 18A) through 47 games.

Eichel scored six points (2G / 4A) in six games while representing Team USA during their Gold Medal performance at the Olympics and will not be ready to return to Vegas' lineup until Friday against the Washington Capitals. The 29-year-old Eichel is producing at a career-best rate this season, with 68 points (21G / 47A) through 50 games.

Andersson has not registered a point and is a minus-2 through two games for Sweden, so he'll come out of the lineup Saturday vs. Slovakia. Oliver Ekman-Larsson will move into a more regular role to replace Andersson and Hampus Lindholm will suit up as the seventh defenseman.

Schmid has been so-so for the Golden Knights this season, he's got a strong record at 16-6-6 but has a 2.53 GAA and league average .895 SV%. The last time he suited up for Team Switzerland was in the 2024 World Championships, where he was 3-0-0 with a dazzling 0.86 GAAm .946 SV% and one shutout. He'll be a busy man on Friday vs. Canada, as Switzerland unsparingly enter the game as massive underdogs.

Rondbjerg suffered an undisclosed injury in Anaheim on February 1st and will miss the Olympics. This is a huge blow to team Denmark, as Rondbjerg was one of just seven NHLers on the roster. His replacement, Setkov, is a defenseman, giving Denmark eight blueliners at the event.

McNabb has not played since suffering an upper-body injury on New Year's Eve and will target a return to the lineup after the Olympic break. The 34-year-old defenseman is averaging 20:48 time-on-ice and has three points (2G / 1A) in 38 games this season.

The 25-year-old Schmid has lost three straight (0-2-1), posting a 3.30 GAA and .870 SV%. He has lost six of his last nine (4-3-2), with a 2.86 GAA and .882 SV%. Still, the Golden Knights enter Wednesday's contest as significant -284 home favourites against a reeling Canucks team that has scored two or fewer goals in five straight games (1-3-1).

Rondbjerg recently made his season debut with the Golden Knights, but suffered an undisclosed injury and will be sidelined until, at minimum, after the Olympic Break. The 26-year-old has one assist in four games this season.

Laczynski has seen favorable deployment in a recent call-up to Vegas, including playing on the team's second powerplay unit. He has two assists in nine games with Vegas, but will return to Henderson (AHL), where he has 35 points (13G / 22A) in 32 games this season.

Coghlan played two games with the Golden Knights earlier this season, but has spent most of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL. The 27-year-old defenseman has 18 points (7G / 11A) in 30 games with Henderson (AHL).

Uchacz is an undrafted 22-year-old forward who has yet to play an NHL game. He has spent the last two seasons in the AHL and has 20 points (6G / 14A) through 39 games with Henderson (AHL) in 2025-26.
