Boeser was forced to leave Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and was placed on IR on Sunday. His movement to IR means that he will miss at least two games and the Canucks will re-evaluate him prior to next Sunday’s game vs. the Ducks. The move also opens up a roster spot to call-up reinforcements from Utica (AHL).
Pettersson (lower-body) will return to the Canucks lineup on Saturday.

Gallagher missed four games before returning from a concussion on January 9th but suffered a setback and missed the next six games. Gallagher was back on the top line in the last two practices and is set to play Thursday in Buffalo. He has scored 15 goals with 17 assists (32 points) in 41 games this season.

Demko will start Monday vs. the Blues.
Demko stopped 17 of 18 shots in the Canucks win over the Sharks on January 18th. It was a strong outing for the 24-year-old, who is now 6-0-1 with a 2.71 GAA and .908 SV% in his seven home starts. In his first start vs. the Blues, Demko stopped 34 of 37 shots in a 4-3 shootout win in mid-October.

Demko surrendered five goals on 49 shots in the Canucks loss in Florida on January 9th. He hasn't played a lot lately but has lost his first two outings in January while giving up eight goals on 65 shots (.877 SV%). Tonight he faces the Sharks for the second time this season, he stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 5-2 win in San Jose in early-November.

Gallagher returned from a concussion on Thursday but missed Friday's practice with headaches. Gallagher was scheduled to undergo testing to determine whether or not the headaches were concussion-related or something else, but that hasn't been determined yet. The team elected to leave him back in Montreal for precautionary reasons as they travelled to Ottawa.

Demko will start Thursday in Florida.
Demko allowed three goals on 16 shots after replacing Jacob Markstrom in the Canucks blowout loss in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. It was a rough night for both netminders but they'll give Demko his 14th start of the season in their second game of a Florida swing. He is 3-4-0 with a 3.13 GAA and .902 SV% on the road, so it should be easy to find a better option on an 11-game slate.
Gallagher (concussion) is expected to return to the Canadiens lineup on Thursday.
Gallagher missed the last four games with a concussion but will play Thursday vs. the Oilers. Gallagher was back on the top line and top power-play unit in Thursday's morning skate and comes in with 13 points (5G / 8A) in his last 13 games.
The Blackhawks have reassigned Kevin Lankinen to Rockford (AHL).
Lankinen served as Corey Crawford's backup for the last two games so his return to the AHL suggests that Robin Lehner will be available on Thursday.
