Gallagher will need to be reevaluated after it was announced he would miss Thursday's game due to a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old has three goals, five assists and 51 SOG through his first 22 games prior to the injury.
Vitali Kravtsov is expected to rejoin the Rangers' lineup Wednesday (health scratch).
Kravtsov has been a healthy scratch for the Rangers' last six games after dealing with two injuries that have taken him out of the lineup already this season. The 22-year-old has one assist and three SOG through six games this season while averaging 8:45 ATOI.
The Wild have assigned Marco Rossi to Iowa (AHL).
Rossi has been a healthy scratch for four straight games and will head to the AHL to get some playing time. Rossi has just one assist in 16 games this season but registered 53 points (18G / 35A) in 63 AHL games last year.

Oleksiak hasn't played since Nov. 8th due to a lower-body injury but will be a gametime decision Wednesday. Through 14 games this season, the 29-year-old has three goals and five points with a +1 plus/minus.

Lankinen allowed five goals on 35 shots (.857 SV%) in his previous start against the Colorado Avalanche. The Predators' backup has been incredibly solid in limited action, posting a 2-2-0 record with his 2.60 GAA and .921 SV%. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings who ranks third last in the NHL with 28.9 shots per game but 13th in goals per game with 3.28.

Oleksiak's movement to IR was retroactive to November 8th, meaning he'll be eligible to be activated for next Thursday's game vs. the Rangers. The Kraken did not disclose how long they expect him to be sidelined but used his roster spot to recall Gustav Olofsson from the AHL.

Lankinen stopped all 13 of 13 shots in relief his last time between the pipes as he filled in after Jusse Saaros was pulled vs. Seattle after four goals on six shots. The Predators' backup has been great this season, with a 2-1-0 record along with his .940 SV% and 1.91 GAA. Lankinen will take on an Avalanche team that is coming off back-to-back wins over Columbus in Finland and ranks eighth in the NHL in GF/GP with 3.55 per game.

Demko took the shootout loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 30 shots (.900 SV%) in a 4-3 dropped game to Nashville. He has struggled mightily this season, amassing an ugly 1-6-2 rating with a 3.90 GAA and .879 SV%. He faces off against Montreal who snapped a three-game losing streak Tuesday with a shootout win over Detroit, 3-2 the night before.
Brock Boeser will return to the Canucks' lineup Tuesday (hand).
Boeser has been on the injured reserve since leaving Vancouvers game October 22nd vs. Buffalo due to a hand injury. He is still looking for his first goal of 2022-23 after collecting four assists and a -3 plus/minus with nine SOG in his first six games.
