Vanecek was perfect, stopping 32 of 32 shots for his third shutout of the season as he shut out Carolina in his previous start the last time out. The 27-year-old has been very successful in his first season as a Devil, yet is still 20 wins off of Martin Brodeur's single-season Devils' win record as he has a 28-7-3 record, 2.48 GAA and .910 SV%. He will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost seven of their last nine games after a 3-2 loss to Winnipeg last game.

He will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have lost two of their last three games but are ninth in the NHL in goals per game (3.37).
