Schmaltz missed the Coyotes' previous game due to a lower-body injury and will miss Tuesday vs. the Flames as well. The 27-year-old is second in team scoring, with 21 goals, 46 points, 101 SOG, 12 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 50 games prior to the injury.

Vanecek was perfect, stopping 32 of 32 shots for his third shutout of the season as he shut out Carolina in his previous start the last time out. The 27-year-old has been very successful in his first season as a Devil, yet is still 20 wins off of Martin Brodeur's single-season Devils' win record as he has a 28-7-3 record, 2.48 GAA and .910 SV%. He will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost seven of their last nine games after a 3-2 loss to Winnipeg last game.




Durzi has seven goals, 27 assists, 98 SOG, 37 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 62 games this season but will not play Thursday after not making the trip to Colorado due to an undisclosed injury. It will be the first game missed this season for the 24-year-old.





Donato has 12 goals, 10 assists, 93 SOG, 29 PIMs and a -16 plus/minus through 56 games this season but will be a healthy scratch Tuesday as Daniel Sprong takes his spot in the Kraken' lineup.

Vanecek allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) for his fifth-win in six games as he beat Arizona in his previous start. The 27-year-old continue's to be nearly impossible to beat, as proven by his 27-6-3 record, 2.50 GAA and .908 SV%. He will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have lost two of their last three games but are ninth in the NHL in goals per game (3.37).



Schmaltz suffered an upper-body injury in the Coyotes game in Dallas on Wednesday. Schmaltz has been on a heater as of late, scoring four goals with three assists (seven points) on a five-game point streak.
