Jones played in five straight games with the Rangers before being a healthy scratch in Ottawa on Sunday. Patrik Nemeth (personal) replaced him in the lineup against the Senators.


Trocheck was forced to leave Friday's game vs. the Predators with an upper-body injury and did not return. He was not on the ice for Saturday's practice and the Hurricanes were unsure of his status for Sunday's game. Since its' an afternoon start, consider him a game-time decision.

Hayton will play for the first time since January 6th and returns to the lineup with six points (2G / 4A) in 26 games this season. It's not clear who Hayton will play with in his return but he figures to play a top-6 role with power-play usage.














Hayton suffered a hand injury vs. the Blackhawks on Thursday and will require "minor" surgery. Hayton is expected to miss at least five weeks, so he'll be out of the lineup until mid-to-late February.
