Carcone will make his season debut on Thursday in New York.
Liam O'Brien will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Carcone to make his season debut. Carcone was a regular for the Arizona Coyotes last season, playing 74 games, but had a tale of two very different seasons. In his first 26 games, Carcone had 17 points (14G / 3A), before tailing off for his final 48 games when he scored only 12 points (7G / 5A).

Michael Carcone will make his season debut on Thursday, resulting in O'Brien being a healthy scratch. On Tuesday, O'Brien played 10:30 time-on-ice, recording a +1 plus/minus, one shot on goal, and seven hits. He had 14 points (5G / 9A), 153 penalty minutes, and 229 hits in 75 games last season.

Yamamoto had spent training camp with Utah on a PTO and earned himself a one-year, two-way contract on Sunday. The 26-year-old is entering his eighth NHL season and had eight goals and 16 points in 59 games with Seattle in 2023-24.

The 21-year-old right-winger was Arizona's 2021 1st-round pick (9th overall) and is expected to take a large step forward as a member of Utah's top six and likely top powerplay in 2024-25.

Beaudoin was Utah's 2024 1st round pick (24th overall) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract on Tuesday. The 18-year-old centre spent 2023-24 with the Barrie Colts (OHL) and had 28 goals, and 62 points in 67 games played. He is expected to return back to Barrie for the 2024-25 season but will compete in Utah's upcoming training camp for a spot on this year's roster.
Utah has signed Tij Iginla to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Iginla was the Utah Hockey Club's first ever draft pick when he was selected in the 1st round of the 2024 Draft (6th overall) and has signed his three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday. The 17-year-old right-winger is the son of Calgary legend Jerome Iginla and earned his high draft position by putting up 47 goals, and 84 points in 64 games played with Kelowna (WHL) in 2023-24.
Utah has signed Artem Duda to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Duda was the No.36 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. The 20-year-old defenseman came over from Russia last year and played at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he had seven points (2G / 5A) in 12 games.
