Bob has a 2.16 GAA and .935 SV% in 11 starts this season and tonight he faces the Blues on home ice, where he is 4-2-0 with a 2.18 GAA and .937 SV%.

Stecehr will replace Philip Larsen and comes into play with one assist and a minus-3 rating in four games with the Canucks this season. The rookie defenseman will skate on the top-pair with Alex Edler and should see some power-play time as well.

After missing three games with a lower-body injury, Tanev returned to the lineup last night, only to get hurt again. There has been no indication whether or not Tanev re-injured himself or if he suffered a new lower-body ailment. Either way, his injury means that Nikita Tryamkin will make his season debut.

Stecher, 22, was an undrafted college free agent, who has one assist in four games with Utica this season. Last year he had 29 points (8G / 21A) in 43 games at the University of North Dakota and tonight he will make his NHL debut on the top pair with Alex Edler as well as on the top power-play.
Tanev was tangled up with Anze Kopitar on Saturday and absorbed a big hit from Nick Ritchie on Sunday, so he was too banged up to participate in the morning skate and won’t play on Tuesday. With Tanev out, Troy Stretcher was recalled from Utica (AHL) and he is expected to make his NHL debut.

Tonight he gets a solid matchup in Los Angeles—the Kings come in at 2-3-0 while averaging 2.60 goals per game.
Sissons missed Saturday’s game vs. the Penguins because of food poisoning, but he was back on the ice for practice this afternoon and it looks like he will be available for Wednesday’s game in Anaheim.

Bobrovsky was peppered after the Blue Jackets took an early 2-0 lead and was unable to hold onto the lead. His teammates did not play well in front of him, so this can’t all be pinned on Bobrovsky, but it was an unsettling start to the season for his fantasy investors. Things won’t get any easier tonight with the Sharks in town.
