Rielly left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury after crashing into the boards and retired to the dressing room after playing just 2:57 TOI. Rielly is day-to-day and will not play Thursday, which means that Frank Corrado will draw into the lineup for the second time this season.

Bobrovsky (illness) will return to the Blue Jackets crease on Tuesday.

Bobrovsky missed the last three games with an illness, but will start tonight vs. the Hurricanes. In his last start, Bob stopped 25 of 26 shots in a win over the Flyers. The 28-year-old has gone 15-3-0 with a 1.84 GAA and .939 SV% in 18 starts at Nationwide Arena this season—he’ll face a Hurricanes team that ranks 11th in the NHL in scoring (2.77 GF/PG).

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Flyers on Sunday. Bobrovsky was held out of the lineup on Tuesday, but is expected to be back in the crease tonight in Tampa Bay. Bobrovsky has faced the Lightning twice already—he went 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .927 SV% in the first two meetings.

On Monday the Blue Jackets waived Curtis McElhinney and called up Anton Forsberg, who will make his season debut tonight. Rielly was given the morning off in New Jersey, but will be in the lineup vs. the Devils. Rielly has had a solid season, picking up 17 points (1G / 16A) across 37 games. Rielly is on-pace for a career-high 186 shots and his 1.2 shooting percentage should improve and he will start finding the back of the net with more regularity.

He will look to continue the streak tonight in Washington—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.49 GAA and .930 SV% in his first two games vs. the Capitals.

He will look to continue the streak tonight in Washington—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.49 GAA and .930 SV% in his first two games vs. the Capitals.

The Flyers have sent Anthony Stolarz to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

While Michal Neuvirth was sidelined, Stolarz made the most of his opportunities, even though they were few and far between. The 22-year-old went 2-0-0 with a 1.79 GAA and .938 SV% with the Flyers and returns to the Phantoms, where he has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.39 GAA and .927 SV%. The Flyers appear to have a good one in the 6-foot-6 American netminder.

Bobrovsky stopped 29 of31 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in Minnesota on New Year’s Eve. Bobrovsky has now won 13 in a row and was a perfect 12-0-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .939 SV% in December. Bob has been incredible the season and needs to be given a lot of the credit in Columbus. Tonight he faces the Oilers for the second time this season—he stopped 33 of 34 shots in a 3-1 win in a win in mid-December.

He has been ridiculous all season, only losing five of his 29 games in regulation and comes into tonight with a 9-2-2 with a 1.87 GAA and .931 SV% on the road this season.
