Matthews (shoulder) will return to the Maple Leafs lineup on Wednesday.

Matthews has missed the last 14 games with a shoulder injury but will be back tonight vs. the Sharks. With Matthews back, Frederik Gauthier will be a healthy scratch. In his first seven games, Matthews had 16 points (10G / 6A) but was held pointless in the next four games. Matthews will likely be back between Patrick Marleau and Kasperi Kapanen.

Stolarz will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Stolarz made 33 saves on 35 shots after replacing Calvin Pickard in the Flyers loss in Toronto on Saturday. It was a strong showing for the 24-year-old and likely earned himself a start tonight vs. Ottawa. Stolarz was 2-0-0 and stopped 64 of the 72 (.889 SV%) shots he faced in just three games with Lehigh Valley (AHL) before being called-up. He owns a 2.11 GAA and .931 SV% in limited NHL action.

Bobrovsky made 32 saves on 34 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Maple Leafs on Friday. Bobrovsky has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.51 GAA and .950 SV%. The 30-year-old netminder has put a poor start way behind him and is back in must-start territory. He stopped 23 of 24 shots after replacing Joonas Korpisalo in their last meeting with the Red Wings.

Bobrovsky surrendered three goals on 25 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Toronto on Monday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Bobrovsky, who will get another crack at the Maple Leafs tonight. He is 5-2-0 with a 1.72 GAA and .945 SV% in seven November starts.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Carolina on Saturday. Bobrovsky showed no ill effects after missing Thursday’s game, winning for the fourth consecutive time—stopping 116 of 120 shots (.967 SV%) in the process. Bob is playing much better, but has a terrible matchup tonight in Toronto.

Bobrovsky stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Washington on Friday. Bobrovsky had a rough start to the season but has played very well as of late. The 30-year-old has gone 3-2-0 while allowing just eight goals on 160 shots (.950 SV%) in his last five starts—allowing just one goal in four of the five games. One of those wins came against the Stars, who he’ll face again tonight.
