Jonas Johansson was absent from practice on Thursday, which was initially classified as "body maintenance," but may actually be something that could keep him out of the lineup, as indicated by the recalling of Brandon Halverson from the Syracuse Crunch (AHL). Lundmark was a second-round pick of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, but he has yet to make his NHL debut. The 25-year-old Swedish defenseman has five assists in 27 games with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) this season.

Groshev made his NHL debut two weeks ago, recording an assist in 13:03 time-on-ice, but had been a healthy scratch in each game since. The 24-year-old defenseman was a third-round draft pick of the Lightning in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.


Injuries on Tampa Bay's blueline gave D'Astous a chance to draw into the lineup, and he has impressed with his opportunity in his first NHL season, earning a one-year, $875,000 contract extension. The 27-year-old defenseman is averaging 19:05 time-on-ice and has 13 points (3G / 10A) in 33 games this season.
