Sogaard is 6-9-2 with a 3.30 GAA and .898 SV% through 21 games with the Belleville Senators (AHL) and has been recalled by Ottawa Thursday. He will backup Anton Forsberg while Cam Talbot is on the mend.

Holmberg returns to the Maple Leafs where he has five goals, eight assists, 20 SOG, 12 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 33 games this season. He was returned to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) over the all-star break to stay active and get a few games while the Maple Leafs were off.

The Flames do not play again until after the All-Star break, so they sent a trio of young players, including Pelletier, back to the AHL.

Mikheyev reportedly suffered an ACL tear in the preseason and had been playing on it the entire season. He will have surgery next week, ending his 2022-23 season with 28 points (13G / 15A) in 46 games. Mikheyev was on-pace for a career-high 48 points (22G / 26A).

The Maple Leafs waived Dryden Hunt on Sunday to clear the way for Holmberg, who has 11 points (4G / 7A) in 28 games with the Maple Leafs this season. In 12 AHL games, the 23-year-old has six points (2G / 4A).
