The Lightning have assigned Jakob Pelletier to Syracuse (AHL).
Pelletier was recalled ahead of Saturday's game vs. the Hurricanes but served as a reserve forward and did not play. Pelletier returns to the AHL, where he has 15 goals and 16 assists (31 points) in 24 games this season.
Pelletier has been reassigned to Syracuse (AHL).
Kucherov (illness) is expected to return vs. Carolina on Saturday.
