Krug who missed practice on Tuesday with what the Bruins called a 'minor body issue' is back on the ice this morning.

Krug's availability for Thursday's game never really seemed in jeopardy, but this ensures that he will be in the lineup tomorrow. The 22-year-old defenseman has enjoyed a great start to the season collecting seven goals and 16 points in 27 games. The seven goals in tied for the league lead amongst D-men. He should be activated in all formats.

Drouin once again skating on the wing with Stamkos and St. Louis for practice this afternoon.

Drouin is still skating with St. Louis and Stamkos as he was at the start of training camp. If he can land this gig on the top-line, it would do a ton for his fantasy value. St. Louis and Stamkos finished first and second in scoring last season so there would be a lot of opportunity for Drouin to produce.

Cam Fowler (upper body) not part of Ducks practice. Would figure chances of him playing Saturday at LA are decreasing.

Fowler was hurt in the first period of Wednesday's game and did not return. Monitor his status to see if he'll play tomorrow. He has had a disappointing season (0G, 7A, -7, 32 games) after totaling 40 and 29 points in his two previous seasons.

The Bruins have called up Torey Krug from Providence. The defenseman will be available tonight against the Canadiens.

Krug is one of the prospects available on the trade market. Matt Bartkowski could also be a trade chip. Both could be in tonight's lineup for rival scouts to evaluate prior to a deal. Krug is the more offensively dynamic of the two young defensemen and has 10 goals and 24 assists in 55 games for Providence.

Cam Fowler will not travel with the #NHLDucks to Colorado today, but might join team at some point on road trip, Coach Bruce Boudreau said.

Fowler suffered an upper-body injury after getting hit by Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll. He is only expected to miss the start of the road trip but there has been no official word on a timetable for his return.

Cam Fowler
No Cam Fowler (upper body) for #NHLDucks tonight, and no definitive timetable, but Coach Bruce Boudreau said he doesn't expect absence will be too long.

Fowler was hit hard in the Ducks last contest. He is a great offensive defenceman and this is a big blow to the Ducks. According to Bourdreau Fowler shouldn't be out long which is a positive.

The Ducks had the same situation last season with defenseman Cam Fowler.“He has been the same steady type player we expected right from the first day of camp,” Carlyle said of Smith-Pelly. “He did it last year in camp, too.”

Speaking of Fowler, it sounds like he will start the season on the top pairing alongside Lubomir Visnovsky. In his rookie season he finished the year with 10 goals and 40 points. Expect similar production, if not more, in his second full season as he should bypass the sophomore slump.
