Fabbri suffered and ankle injury in Tuesday’s win over the Avalanche, but it doesn’t sound like it is very serious. He will miss the next few games, but is expected to be back before the end of the regular season.

Fabbri left last night’s game after playing 11:55 TOI. The Blues will not practice on Wednesday, so there likely won’t be an update on Fabbri’s status until Thursday.

Sundqvist, 22, was a healthy scratch last night and returns to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton where he has 17 points (5G / 12A) in 44 games this season. He has just one assist in 12 games with Pittsburgh this year.

Schenn suffered a head injury in the Flyers loss to the Oilers on Thursday and is listed as a game-time decision for Saturday’s game vs. the Blue Jackets. Schenn has been on fire recently, collecting seven goals and six assists (13 points) in his last 11 games.

Faulk limped off of the ice during Wednesday’s practice and will miss his seventh game of the Hurricanes’ last eight. His leg injury has not progressed like the Hurricanes’ had hoped, so he’ll sit tonight in Toronto. Michal Jordan is expected to be back in the lineup for Faulk.

Faulk has missed the last six games with a leg injury, but is listed as a game-time decision tonight and could return vs. the Flyers. Monitor Faulk’s status when pregame warmups start at 6:30 pm ET.

Krug left late in Saturday’s game, but will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Krug has picked up four assists in 10 games this month, including one assist in the Bruins win over the Blue Jackets last Tuesday.

Faulk will miss his fourth straight game with a leg injury. The Hurricanes said they’re being smart with Faulk’s injury, so he will not travel to Ottawa for Thursday’s game. He remains close to returning, but it won’t come until Friday at the earliest when the Hurricanes return home to play the Sharks.

Hurricanes head coach Bill Peters said that Faulk is getting close, but will not play on Tuesday. He is expected to practice again on Wednesday and could be back in the lineup on Thursday in Ottawa.
