Bjugstad (groin) will return to the Panthers’ lineup on Thursday.

Bjugstad has missed the last nine games with a groin injury, but will return to centre the Panthers’ fourth line on Thursday. Bjugstad has had a tough season, posting just two points (1G / 1A) in 21 games so far. His production has fallen off immensely since his breakout 2014-15 campaign.

Buchnevich will play on Friday, but will sit on Saturday.

Buchnevich has been out since November 12th, but will return to the lineup tonight after a brief three-game conditioning stint with Hartford (AHL). Buchnevich had one goal and one assist during those three games and returns to the Rangers, where he has eight points (4G / 4A) in 10 games this season.

Bujgstad left Friday’s game with a lower-body injury.

Bjugstad played just 4:18 TOI before retiring to the dressing room last night. Panthers’ head coach Tom Rowe did not have an update on Bjugstad after the game, so considering him questionable for Saturday’s game vs. the Bruins. This would be a big loss for a team already without their top centre Aleksander Barkov.

Faulk (lower-body) not expected to play Tuesday; could play by then end of the week.

Faulk has missed the last three games and is expected to miss his fourth consecutive game on Tuesday. Faulk’s loss is huge for the Hurricanes, so potentially getting him back at the end of the week is huge news for the Canes and Faulk owners alike.

Justin Faulk
Krug (illness) missed the morning skate but is expected to play vs. Florida.

Krug was absent from the Bruins’ morning skate on Monday, but head coach Claude Julien said that Krug will try and give it a go tonight. Krug has had a hard time finding the back of the net in his first 25 games, scoring just one goal on 77 shots, but it’s only a matter of time before the puck starts bouncing the right way for the talented defenseman.

Torey Krug
Bjugstad (hand) has been cleared to make his season debut on Tuesday.

Bjugstad missed the first 19 games of the season with a broken hand, but will make his season debut Tuesday. There was no word on where Bjugstad would fit into the lineup, but expect a full update during Tuesday’s morning skate. The Panthers went 10-8-1 without Bjugstad, but his return will help immensely. He had 34 points (15G / 19A) in 67 games a season ago.
