Silovs will start in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Penguins are off to a 2-2-0 start to the 2025-26 season and will continue to alternate their goalies, turning to Silovs on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings. Silovs has shown a mixed bag in his two games as a Penguin. He opened the season with a spectacular 25-save shutout in a 3-0 win over the New York Rangers, but followed it up by allowing six goals on 30 shots (.800 SV%) against the same Rangers team four days later. The Penguins enter the action on Thursday as +172 road underdogs against a Kings team that has been outscored 16-12 through four games this season (1-2-1).

Chinakhov will make his season debut on Thursday vs. Colorado.

With Miles Wood (upper body) out of the lineup for at least a week, Chinakhov will draw in and make his season debut on Thursday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 24-year-old Chinakhov scored 15 points (7G / 8A) in 30 games last season. The talented forward had a season-opening stint with 14 points (7G / 7A) in his first 21 games last season, but has lacked consistent production.

Soderblom is expected to draw back into Detroit's lineup on Wednesday vs. Florida.

With Lucas Raymond battling an upper-body injury, Soderblom will draw back into Detroit's lineup on Wednesday against the Florida Panthers. In his only outing this season, the 24-year-old Soderblom played 10:43 time-on-ice and recorded a -2 plus/minus.

van Riemdsyk is expected to draw back into Washington's lineup vs. Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

Declan Chisholm will exit Washington's lineup on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, allowing van Riemsdyk to draw back in after being a healthy scratch on Sunday. The 34-year-old van Riemsdyk is averaging 13:47 time-on-ice and has a +2 plus/minus through two games this season.

Lapierre is expected to draw back into Washington's lineup vs. Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

With Pierre-Luc Dubois sidelined, day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Lapierre will draw back into Washington's lineup as his replacement. The 23-year-old Lapierre is averaging 10:03 time-on-ice and has zero points through two games this season. He will suit up on a line with Sonny Milano and Ryan Leonard.
