Kuzmenko has regularly been in and out of the lineup lately, but draws back in to replace Quinten Byfield (illness). Rakell has not played since October 25th, missing 20 straight games due to a wrist injury, but returned to practice earlier this week and could draw into the lineup as soon as this weekend. Dumba was regularly scratched by the Dallas Stars last season and ultimately dealt way to Pittsburgh in the offseason. The 31-year-old Dumba continued being a scratch in his tenure with the Penguins, tallying three points (1G / 2A) and a -5 plus/minus while being limited to only 11 games. If he does not get claimed, he will likely report to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL).

Kuzmenko has remained on the top powerplay unit but has since been heavily protected at even strength, seemingly not having the trust of the Kings' coaching staff. The 29-year-old Kuzmenko was excellent with the Kings after being acquired before the trade deadline in 2024-25, scoring 17 points (5G / 12A) in 22 games, but has not been able to replicate that success in 2025-26.
