Ristolainen (upper-body) will make his Flyers debut on Wednesday.
Ristolainen missed the first two games of the season with an upper-body injury but will play Wednesday vs. the Bruins. Look for Ristolainen to skate on the second pairing with Travis Sanheim in his debut.
Ristolaien (upper-body) will not play Monday vs. the Kraken.
Ristolaien was on the ice for Sunday's practice but will remain out of the lineup on Monday. Nick Seeler will play in Ristolainen's spot again. Consider Ristolainen day-to-day and expect him to make his debut later this week.
Aston-Reese (COVID-19) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.
Aston-Reese missed the first two games of the regular season but it appears as if he will make his season debut on Saturday. Aston-Reese, who will skate on the third line, had nine goals and six assists (15 points) in 45 games last season.
Ristolainen (upper-body) will miss the Flyers season opener on Friday.
Ristolainen was acquired from the Sabres this offseason but his Flyers debut will have to wait, as he's sidelined by an upper-body injury. With Ristolainen sidelined, Nick Seeler will skate on the third pairing next to Keith Yandle.
Aston-Reese (COVID-19) will not play in the Penguins season opener on Tuesday.
Aston-Reese missed some of the preseason after a positive COVID-19 test in late September and will not be available for the season opener on Tuesday. However, Aston-Reese did travel to Florida and will be re-evaluated ahead of Thursday's game vs. the Panthers.
Acciari (upper-body) will be out "a while."
Acciari was hurt in a scrum during Tuesday's preseason game. He was talked to the ice by Pat Maroon and appeared to hurt his left arm in some capacity. Surgery is not required but head coach Joel Quenneville said he has a long rehab ahead of him. This under opens the door for someone like Anton Lundell to start the season in the NHL.
Aston-Reese has tested positive for COVID-19 and is out indefinitely.

The Flyers have acquired Rasmus Ristolainen from the Sabres for Robert Hagg, the No.13 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and a 2023 second-round draft pick.
Ristolainen's game appears to be heading in the wrong direction but the Flyers must not think so. They have given up a considerable amount of assets to have Ristolainen replace Shayne Gostisbehere in 2021-22. After four-straight seasons of 40-plus points from 2016-to-2019, Ristolainen has averaged seven goals and 29 assists (36 points) per 82 games over the last two years. He remains big and tough to play against and will undoubtedly be a part of the Flyers top-4 with either Ivan Provorov or Travis Sanheim.
The Maple Leafs have signed Joseph Woll to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
Woll was a third-round pick in 2016 and has spent the last two seasons in the AHL. The 23-year-old struggled in 2020-21, going 7-7-0 with a 3.54 GAA and .892 SV% in 15 games with the Marlies. Woll will almost certainly open the 2021-22 season in the AHL.
