Shesterkin will start Friday in Colorado.

Shesterkin stopped 25 of 26 shots (.962 SV%) for his second straight victory as he defeated St.Louis in his previous start. Last season's Vezina Trophy winner has not been as dominant this season as shown by his .913 SV%, 2.58 GAA and 12-4-4 record. He will face the Colorado Avalanche, who have uncharacteristically lost three straight and four of their last five games.
