Veleno will draw into the Montreal lineup because Patrik Laine is out with a lower-body injury. Veleno most recently played for the Blackhawks, where he had seven points (3G / 4A) in 18 games. He'll centre a line with Zack Bolduc and Owen Beck in his debut.

Iorio will make his Sharks debut when they play the Mammoth on Friday. He has appeared in nine career NHL games, all with the Capitals, registering zero goals and one assist.

Parssinen picked up an assist in his only other appearance of the season while seeing less than 10 minutes of ice time. Jonny Brodzinski will sit in his place.

Durzi suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators, scoring one assist but exiting after only 16:58 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old Durzi was solid in limited action with Utah last season, scoring 11 points (4G / 7A) in 30 games.

The Bruins are off to a surprising 3-0-0 start to the 2025-26 season and will roll with Korpisalo in the crease for the second time. The 31-year-old Korpisalo was serviceable in his first outing, saving 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) in a 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks. With the Bruins on the second half of a back-to-back, they will turn to backup netminder Joonas Korpisalo as they look to stay in the Win column at their home. opener vs. Chicago on Thursday. Korpisalo is coming off a tough first season in Boston in 2024-25, where he posted an 11-10-3 record with an ugly .893 SV% and 2.90 GAA. He plays host to the Chicago Blackhawks, who lost their opening game on Tuesday to Florida, 3-2.

The 24-year-old Dorofeyev had a breakout 2024-25 season, scoring 52 points (35G / 17A) in 82 games, including 13 powerplay goals, and could be in for another career year in 2025-26.
