Varlamov (illness) will be available for Tuesday's game vs. the Panthers.

Varlamov missed his scheduled start on Friday due to an illness but will be available to serve as Ilya Sorokin's backup on Tuesday. Outside of a couple of tough outings, Varlamov has been pretty good recently, going 5-3-0 with a .922 SV% in his last eight games.

Chaffee will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Chaffee was an undrafted free agent out of UMass-Amherst, who has scored 22 goals with 15 assists (37 points) in 45 games with Iowa (AHL) this season. Chaffee will draw into the lineup on Tuesday with both Tyson Jost and Jordan Greenway still unavailable and Marcus Foligno moved into COVID-19 protocol on Monday.

Horvat (lower-body) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Horvat suffered a lower-body injury last Thursday and will miss at least two weeks. This is a tough blow for a Canucks team that is fighting for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Brock Boeser took Horvat's spot in the lineup on Monday.
