He will take on the Washington Capitals, who have lost three of their last four contest after a 3-1 defeat to Philadelphia last time out.

Holmstrom has missed the Islanders' previous six games due to a lower-body injury but will be a game-time decision Tuesday as they take on the Stars. The 21-year-old, 2019 1st round pick (23rd overall) had been having a quiet rookie campaign prior to the injury, with a goal, an assist and eight SOG through 14 games with the Islanders.
