He will face the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost three of their last four games and are second last in the NHL in both shots (26.7) and goals (2.45) per game.

Erik Kallgren has been recalled by the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Kallgren has a 5-4-2 record, 3.29 GAA and .878 SV% with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and has been recalled to the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday. This is the 26-year-olds second stint with the big club, going 3-2-4 with a 2.67 GAA and .898 SV% across 10 games his last time with the Maple Leafs.

Hughes is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Hughes was having a phenomenal season with 35 goals, 67 points, 229 SOG, and a +15 plus/minus through 50 games played but will miss weeks due to an upper-body injury. It is an unfortunate loss for the fourth year star as he has never played more than 61 games in a season in his career.

Allen allowed four goals on 42 shots (.905 SV%) as he returned from injury and picked up his eighth loss in nine games as he was defeated by Detroit last start. The 32-year-old has battled the puck all season long leading to a 10-16-2 record, 3.53 GAA and .893 SV%. He takes on the Ottawa Senators, who have won their last three games and are fifth in the NHL in shots per game (33.7).
