Blais suffered the injury during the Blues' 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday. Blais will be re-evaluated in 10 weeks, which means he could miss more than two and a half months. To replace Blais, the Blues announced that they've signed veteran Troy Brouwer to a one-year deal.

Devan Dubnyk missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons, so Kahkonen comes up and will likely serve as Alex Stalock's backup on Thursday.

Byron suffered a knee injury in Washington on Friday and it will require surgery on Tuesday. Bryon will miss several weeks and will likely be moved to IR so Montreal can call-up reinforcements from Laval (AHL). Someone like Ryan Poehling is a logical replacement for Byron.

Byron will come out of the lineup due to a lower-body injury that he suffered last night in Washington. With Byron out, Jesperi Kotkaniemi will be making his return to the lineup.

Dach played in 10 straight games, registering three points (1G / 2A) and 10 shots while playing 11:06 ATOI. Head coach Jeremy Colliton told reporters that "scratching [Dach] was part of the development plan." He will be replaced by Dominik Kubalik.

Texier missed four games with a knee injury that he suffered in Philadelphia on October 26th. A combination of Jakob Lilja and Kole Sherwood helped replace Texier, who will reclaim his spot in the Columbus bottom-6 in Arizona on Thursday night. Texier has two goals on 15 shots (13.3 SH%) and one assist in 11 games this season.

Matheon has missed the last five games but with Corey Stillman heading back to the AHL on Tuesday, it paved the way for Matheson's return vs. The Capitals. He has had a slow offensive start to the season, pointing a single assist in nine games.

Blais missed Sunday's game in Detroit but is set to play tonight vs. the Wild. Blais will get a huge opportunity tonight as he lines up on the first line with Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz, replacing Vladimir Tarasenko. Blais has three goals and two assists (five points) in 10 games this season. The 23-year-old provides even more value in banger leagues, averaging 2.6 hits per game.

Laine suffered a lower-body injury in practice on Monday and will come out of the lineup on Tuesday. Oddly enough, Luca Sbisa, who he got tangled up with, will take his spot in the lineup as a No.7 defenseman.

Laine was tangled up with Luca Sbisa in Monday's practice and could miss Tuesday's game in Anaheim. This would put some strain on the Jets' forward group, who will also be without Adam Lowry, who is serving a two-game suspension.

Monteambeault allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Panthers win in Nashville on October 19th. Sergei Bobrovsky started the last three games, including last night, so look for Montembeault to make his third start of the year on Monday. The 22-year-old is 1-0-1 with a 1.79 GAA and .933 SV% in his first two starts and one relief appearance of 2019-20. Tonight he faces a Vancouver team that has won six of their last eight while averaging 3.88 goals per game.

Texier was forced to leave Saturday's game with a knee injury and is expected to be out until mid-November. Jakob Lilja is expected to replace Texier in the lineup on Wednesday.

Matheson was forced to leave Tuesday's game vs. the Penguins and is expected to miss at least 10 days with an undisclosed injury. Riley Stillman was called up from the AHL to replace Matheson on Thursday.

Blais is considered day-to-day with a thumb injury, so Zach Sanford will replace him in the lineup on Thursday. Blais could be back for the Blues' back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday.

Not to be confused with this summer’s No.2 overall pick Kaapo Kakko, Kahkonen was a fourth-round pick in 2014. The 23-year-old netminder has gone 4-0-0 with a 2.95 GAA and .886 SV% in four AHL games this season. He is expected to serve as Alex Stalock’s backup on Thursday because Devan Dubnyk was banged up in Tuesday’s win.
