McKown had 21 goals, seven assists, 30 PIMs and a -19 plus/minus through 38 games with Colorado College (NCAA) and will make his NHL debut Friday. The 20-year-old was an undrafted free agent who signed last week to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Evans has been out since January 14th due to a lower-body injury but will draw back into the Canadiens' lineup Thursday as they take on the Boston Bruins. The 26-year-old had two goals, nine assists, 42 SOG, 20 PIMs and a -8 plus/minus through 43 games this season prior to his injury.

Anderson suffered a lower-body injury late in the third period of Tuesday's game vs. the Lightning and will not play Thursday in Boston. Jake Evans may return from a lower-body injury of his own to replace Anderson in the lineup.

The 22-year-old was enjoying his most productive season to date prior to his injury, with 12 goals, 23 assists, 99 SOG, 43 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 54 games prior to his injury.

Montembeault allowed four goals on 40 shots (.900 SV%) for his second-straight loss as he was beaten by the Tampa Bay Lightning his last time between the pipes. The 26-year-old has been the better of the two Canadien goaltenders, with his 13-14-3 record, 3.36 GAA and .904 SV%. He will face Tampa Bay yet again, who snapped a three-game winning steak with a 5-2 loss to New Jersey last game.
