Tarasenko hasn't played since Dec. 31st due to a hand injury but was activated off the injured reserve Tuesday and is expected to return to the Blues lineup. The 31-year-old had 10 goals, 19 assists, 90 SOG, and a -13 plus/minus through 34 games prior to the injury.

Michael McCarron was just reinstated from the NHLPA Player Assistance Program and has been reassigned to Milwaukee (AHL). The 27-year-old had one goal, one assist, 21 SOG and 17 PIMs through 17 games with Nashville prior to his demotion.

Boldy was selected No.12 overall in 2019 and has picked up 68 points (27G / 41A) in his first 89 career NHL games with the Wild. Boldy was set to become an RFA at the end of the season but is now signed through the 2029-30 season.

With Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson making their season debuts on Sunday, Aube-Kubel and Anthony Mantha will be healthy scratches vs. the Blue Jackets. Aube-Kubel has scored in back-to-back games (his first goals of the season) but is the victim of a numbers game in Washington.
Fabbri will not play both games of the Red Wings back-to-back, so Elmer Soderblom will replace him in the lineup in Toronto.

The Minnesota Wild have recalled Zane McIntyre after it was announced Filip Gustavsson was feeling under the weather Friday. The Wilds' backup has been the better of their two goalies, with his 9-5-1 record, 2.25 GAA and .924 SV% and will hopefully not miss anytime due to illness.
