Gustavsson will start Friday vs. Finland.

Gustavsson had a really rough first period but ultimately settled in to stop 20 of the 22 shots that he faced in Sweden's win over Italy on Wednesday. It wasn't pretty, but it was enough to beat the overmatched hosts, however Sweden will need him to be sharper against Finland on Friday. Gustavsson and the Swedes are -192 favourites vs. their bitter rivals.

Gustavsson will start in Nashville on Wednesday.

Gustavsson allowed three goals on 17 shots (.850 SV%) in Monday's 4-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens and has not needed to be spectacular to garner results in recent weeks. The 27-year-old Swedish goalie has helped his team collect a point in six straight games (5-0-1) despite boasting a less-than-stellar 2.94 GAA and .895 SV%. Minnesota enters the action on Wednesday as a -118 road favourite against a Nashville Predators team that has scored 10 goals in its last two games (2-0-0).

Petersen has been recalled from Iowa (AHL) and will back up vs. Pittsburgh on Monday.

Wallstedt (illness) is expected to be out vs. Montreal on Monday.

Wallstedt was terrific in Minnesota's previous game, saving 39 of 42 shots (.929 SV%) in a 7-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers.
